New lighting, new texture, new colour for the wall. The form needed one more gesture to close it: a pergola that doubles as a carport. The night views show what daylight hides: how raking light draws the wall and how the pergola completes the volume.

The white wall at night: narrow windows, raking light from wall washers and, on the right, the edge of the timber pergola.
